A co-sponsored event in partnership with The National Centre for Academic and Cultural Exchange (NCACE), Cultural Literacy Everywhere (CLE), and Bath Spa University’s Research Centre for Transcultural Creativity and Education (TRACE)

The event will focus on the relationship between ‘Citizenship’ and ‘Research’ as a function of the fast-changing socio-economic environment in the UK and abroad. It will consider in particular the theoretical and practical implications for HE institutions and other agencies of engaging citizens as fully-fledged participants in practice-led research. Reputed practitioners will be invited to share their understanding and expertise on-line with a small group of academic colleagues. It is intended that the event be the first in a series of recorded conversations, whose aim will be to inspire dialogue within and between networks responsible for the development of creative approaches to applied interdisciplinary research and practice in the UK.
