The invitation to apply to join the Core Group of the Cultural Literacy in Europe project is now closed.
The Core Group acts as a steering committee for the project and currently consists of five members with expertise in the four academic areas which the project has focused on hitherto – Cultural Memory, Migration & Translation, Digital Textuality and Biopolitics & the Body – as well as the organiser of the next CLE Conference, which is scheduled to take place in 2017. We are now seeking to broaden the membership.
The Core Group will meet 2-4 times a year, virtually or in person, to take policy and practical decisions relating to the activities of the project. It will be advised by an international Advisory Board of academics and policymakers.
We were looking in particular for members with experience, interest and expertise in the areas listed below, but applicants were welcome to specify other skills you can offer the project.
- Website editor: to update, maintain & develop the website
- Early Career actions coordinator
- Fundraising (including funding applications)
- Creating and developing Special Interest Groups – please specify your idea
We are aiming for a lively mix of motivated people from different countries and research fields.
